Statewide Cyber Sting Leads To Arrests Of “Suspects Targeting Children”

(St. George, UT) — St. George police were among 20 Utah law enforcement agencies involved in a statewide sting operation that led to the arrests of a number of people accused of targeting children online. The Attorney General’s Office announced Operation Cyber Spear on Tuesday, joint investigations deploying undercover officers “to expose adults seeking to harm children and perpetuate child sexual abuse material,” according to a news release. Four St. George Police Department detectives are working with the task force.
