(St. George, UT) — Southwest Utah is under a Flash Flood Watch today. The National Weather Service says excessive rainfall could cause flooding in the region through this evening. The cities being cautioned include St. George, Cedar City, Hurricane, Ivins and more. Forecasters noted several national parks are also facing an increased risk of flooding, such as Zion and Bryce Canyon. Officials say you should check with local ranger stations before going to these areas and have a plan ready if heavy rain comes through.
