(Big Cottonwood Canyon, UT) — Salt Lake County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue is encouraging skiers to hit the slopes with partners. That’s what Todd Taylor, a squad leader with Salt Lake County SAR told FOX 13. This comes after 37-year-old Devon O’Connell was found dead at Solitude Mountain Resort this week. He was believed to be skiing with a partner, but then he decided to hit the slopes alone before going home. Taylor also encouraged skiers to get help sooner rather than later.
