(Salt Lake City, UT) – Salt Lake City could be the place where the Republican Party chooses its nominee for the 2024 presidential election. Politico reports that Salt Lake City is one of four finalists to host the Republican National Convention. Salt Lake City was a finalist to host the 2012 RNC, but that bid was derailed due to a lack of hotel rooms near the convention site. GOP officials will also consider Milwaukee, Nashville and Pittsburgh in the coming weeks before making their final decision some time in the spring.
