Salt Lake City International Reports No Problems After Nationwide Cyberattack

(Salt Lake City, UT) — Officials at Salt Lake City International Airport say they were apparently not a target in a coordinated cyberattack that affected other U.S. airports. A spokesperson for the airport said security personnel did not notice anything unusual as they monitored possible threats yesterday. Websites for several major U.S. airports were knocked offline yesterday by a coordinated denial-of-service attack. The cyberattack was reportedly coordinated by a Russian hacker group that did the same thing to several state government websites last week.
