(Zion National Park, UT) — A rockslide in Zion National Park yesterday forced the closure of Zion Canyon Scenic Drive in the park’s eastern area. The slide occurred near Big Bend, but no injuries have been reported. Park officials are assessing the damage, with the road closure allowing access only to guests staying at the lodge. The size of the rockslide is still being determined.
