(Cedar City, UT) — The lights are back on in Cedar City after an outage impacted the first day of school. More than six-thousand customers were left without power yesterday after Rocky Mountain Power said there was a fault in the line. Most had their power back on within about 30 minutes but others had to wait an hour or more. It happened just before the start of school and affected multiple campuses. However, the Iron County School District ran the school day as scheduled.
