On Jun. 22, Sevier County deputies and EMT’s responded to a fatal motorcycle crash east of Sigurd at the King Ranch. According to Sevier County Sheriff Nathan Curtis, Nathan Martinez, age 45 of West Jordan, was found pinned underneath his Harley Davidson motorcycle with significant head injuries. Skid marks at the scene indicate Martinez slid off the gravel road into a ditch. Martinez was last seen at the base camp area of a local motorcycle rally that was being held. According to reports, Martinez was not wearing a helmet at the time and alcohol was involved in the crash.
