(Cedar City, UT) — Nobody is seriously hurt after a fire damaged a home in Cedar City over the weekend. The blaze is believed to have started in some brush of a backyard before spreading to a home and its garage Sunday morning. Firefighters noted it burned up a tall pine tree, leading to embers floating through the neighborhood. Nearby homes were evacuated as a precaution, but soon evacuations were lifted once firefighters got a hold of the flames. Two firefighters were hurt because of a hole in the backyard, but will be okay.
