(Salt Lake City, UT) — A multi-agency undercover operation has resulted in nineteen Utah residents being arrested for child-exploitation-related crimes. Known as “Operation Digital Siege”, the investigation focused on searching homes for child exploitation material and arresting those suspected of exploiting children for sexual purposes. The large-scale operation has involved 29 agencies and 70 Task Force agents. Those arrested are facing charges ranging from enticement of a minor to human trafficking of a child, and more arrests are expected to be made soon.
