A new wildfire near Marysvale is exhibiting extreme fire behavior. The Silver King Fire was sparked by lightning on July 5 and is burning about 8 miles west of Marysvale. According to utahfireinfo.org, the fire has burned over 10,800 acres and is zero percent contained. In a Facebook post on the Marysvale City Facebook page on Saturday residents in Bullion Canyon were told “they may need to evacuate Sunday in the upper canyon above were the pavement ends or if they are right on Bullion Creek.” This is a developing story and we will update you with more information as it becomes available.
