A new water well in Wales facing delays is causing some concern for citizens. Due to issues with the Edmund Well, the town had planned for this new well to provide an additional water source.

The new well was originally scheduled to be completed in October of 2020. A shortage of materials due to COVID-19 has been the main cause for the setback. Two additional change orders have also increased the timeline.
