A Mt. Pleasant man already facing a murder charge was back in court on Wednesday for an assault by a prisoner charge stemming from an alleged incident that occurred at the Sanpete County Jail on July 10.  Anthony Jeffrey Christensen had an initial appearance on the 3^rd degree felony charge and was appointed a public defender.  He requested a speedy trial on the charges and was assured by Sanpete County Attorney Kevin Daniels that that would not be a problem.  He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on August 21.
