The Monroe Canyon Fire in Sever County Continues to burn after nearly three weeks. As of this morning, the fire is listed at 62,719 acres and is 13 percent contained. There are currently 1,503 personnel assigned to fight the fire and the cause is still under investigation. Crews on the ground and tanker aircraft have helped slow the spread. Local evacuation orders were lifted on Friday, although the state of emergency declared by Utah Governor Spencer Cox remains in effect.
