The Gunnison Valley Police Department has successfully located and recovered Lindsay Pearson.

This afternoon (Friday) just after 3 pm, officers from Southern Utah University Police, responded to an undisclosed location in Cedar City, where they located the missing female.

Lindsay, age 17, was reported missing Thursday evening after 9 pm in Gunnison, Utah after leaving work at a local pizza store. The bicycle she was riding was found at the Gunnison High School Football Field but there was no trace of the teenager.

Officers are thrilled that Lindsay is safe, and that this frightening situation had a positive ending. The Gunnison Valley Police along with investigators from the FBI will continue to investigate this case.

Authorities would not identify her as a runaway or kidnap victim but have stated it’s possible charges may be filed.
