Ten young women will be competing this Friday for the opportunity to represent Sanpete County for the next year. The Miss Sanpete County pageant will be held that evening at Manti High School. The new queen and her court will reign over the Sanpete County Fair later this month. The winner will receive a $2,000 scholarship and also represent Sanpete County at the Miss Utah pageant next June.

Contestants include Amelia Neil and Makenna Cherry of Ephraim, Jasmine Alcala and Jillane Olsen of Manti, Michayla Jackson of Milburn, Lydia Madsen of Fairview, Jordan Henson of Fountain Green, Ashytn Childs of Gunnison, and Bellamy Sorensen and Senora Childs of Centerfield.

The pageant will begin at 7 p.m. and tickets will be available at the door.
