(Salt Lake City, UT) — The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints spent more than a billion dollars in charitable giving worldwide last year. The church laid out its 2022 giving in an extended report released Wednesday. The money included help for people within and outside the church. The report titled “Caring for Those in Need” showed that expenditures for charity were more than 100-million dollars higher last year than in 2021.
