(Salt Lake City, UT) — The LDS Church has broken ground on three new temples. One is in Austin, Texas, another is in Santiago, Chile, while the third is in Londrina, Brazil. Once the Santiago Temple is completed, Santiago will become the seventh city in the world to have multiple LDS temples, while the Austin temple will be the ninth LDS temple in Texas.
