(Puerto Montt, Chile) — The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announces the location of its new Puerto Montt Chile Temple. Church officials say the temple will be built on a six-acre site in the Comuna de Puerto Montt and will be nearly 18-thousand-500 square feet. It will be the first temple in southern Chile and the fourth operating temple in the country, where about 613-thousand members worship in roughly 575 congregations each week.
