(Salt Lake City, UT) — Lawyers representing Charlie Kirk’s accused killer are requesting more time to process the bullet that ended his life. The lawyers said in a recent filing that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives could not identify the bullet recovered during the autopsy and added that the FBI is conducting a second bullet analysis that hasn’t been completed. They also said they need 60 days to determine what could be missing from a review of digital evidence. Prosecutors have charged Tyler Robinson with aggravated murder for shooting the conservative activist in the neck during a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University last September. Robinson hasn’t entered a plea.
