The annual Sanpete County Search & Rescue Jeep Posse Radio Day was a huge success again this year. Held on KMTI-AM 650 & 95.1 FM on April Fools Day yesterday, the annual fund raiser brought in just under $40,000 in donations. Each year for over 45 years, KMTI has donated their air time to the Sanpete County Search & Rescue to raise funds to purchase rescue equipment and other items to support this volunteer organization. Doug Barton, owner of Mid Utah Radio, shared a special thanks to businesses and everyone else who donated money and auction items to this annual fund raising event.
