(Salt Lake City, UT) — Rocky Mountain Power is keeping an eye on a storm that could lead to electrical outages in parts of Utah. The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning for much of western Utah, with wind gusts of up to 65 miles an hour expected. The utility is asking customers to be prepared for conditions that could leave them without services for up to three days. Snow is also expected in the mountains of northern Utah beginning tonight and lasting through Thursday. Up to three feet of snow could fall before the storm system moves out of the area.
