Gov. Cox Declares Liquid Petroleum Gas Emergency

(Salt Lake City, UT) — Governor Spencer Cox is declaring a liquid petroleum emergency in Utah. Governor Cox said the freezing temperatures and road closures caused by the weather has caused a spike in propane demand in the Beehive State. Declaring an emergency allows the state to suspend federal regulations that limit how many hours drivers who transport liquid petroleum can work. The emergency order is in effect for thirty days.
