(Salt Lake City, UT) — A woman who spent much of her life dedicated to her church is dead. Sister Ardeth Greene Kapp was 93. She introduced the Young Women Values and Personal Progress program to Latter-day Saint girls and served as the ninth Young Women general president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 1984 to 1992. Her program was used until 2019. Kapp grew up in a small town in Canada and first met her husband when he was a missionary in her ward. They met again when she attended Brigham Young High School in Provo.
