(Sandy, UT) — Some Utah firefighters deployed to fight the deadly fires in California are back home. They arrived in Sandy on Sunday after battling blazes in Los Angeles for more than two weeks. Sandy Fire Department Captain Mike Goff tells Fox 13 Now that they’re grateful to the people of LA for all they did for them while they were on the ground. But now, he says all the exhausted firefighters are just excited to be home.
