(Salt Lake City, UT) — A panel working on a new design for the Utah flag is nearly done with its work. The panel met yesterday and has reportedly advanced a design for a final vote. The favored design features a beehive, an eight-pointed star representing Native American tribes, and a red, white and blue background. The design could be altered before next week’s final vote, and the approved design will still have to be approved by the state legislature.
