Ephraim City is experiencing a water emergency.  The shaft on the City well has snapped, and the well is no longer functioning.  The entire City water supply, including drinking water, is now completely dependent on the springs, which are extremely low.  As a result, effective immediately, all outside watering in Ephraim is prohibited, including hand watering of gardens and flowers.

This is an emergency situation with  aggressive enforcement, and citations will be issued. Further updates will be given as the City works on a solution.
