Crumbl Cookies Fined For Child Labor Violations

(Lindon, UT) — A Utah-based cookie retailer is being fined by the federal government for a series of child labor violations. The U.S. Department of Labor announced yesterday that 11 Crumbl Cookies locations violated the law by allowing some young employees to work too many hours. The company was also cited for allowing employees as young as 14-years-old to work too late and to operate machinery that was considered hazardous. Four Utah locations were part of the probe, which resulted in fines of nearly 60-thousand dollars.
