Centerfield Man Arrested After Barricade Situation

A man from Centerfield was arrested Sunday after a barricade situation in Sanpete County. According to a police booking affidavit, a woman was found “covered in blood and very distraught.” The woman told police she was assaulted by her ex-boyfriend, Kaleb Justin Peterson age 25, according to the affidavit. It also stated that Peterson had barricaded himself in his home, was armed and had allegedly told a family member that “he rigged up the house with explosives.” The Utah Department of Corrections SWAT team was called to assist with the arrest.
