(Cedar City, UT) — A man is facing prison time after pleading guilty to theft of a motor vehicle. Dale Wesley Morgan was sentenced to five years by a judge on Thursday. At the time of his arrest, he was already on probation for burglary in California. It is believed Morgan was trying to steal a side-by-side on Interstate 15 on December 29th, 2025. A witness followed Morgan after he loaded the vehicle into a box truck and fled along the interstate until police arrived.
