(Salt Lake City, UT) — Road closures and airport delays continue as a major winter storm hits much of Utah. Yesterday at Salt Lake City International, flights were grounded for about 30 minutes as plows cleared the runways. Some flight delays and cancellations are expected today. Alta Ski Resort has received nearly four feet of snow over the past few days. An avalanche warning is now in place for mountains all over Utah. Travel will be difficult on many roads. Drivers are advised to check conditions before leaving.
