(Salt Lake City, UT) — Nearly three-fourths of Utahans support legal same-sex marriage. A recent survey from Deseret News/Hinckley Institute of Politics found that 72-percent of residents believe same-sex marriage should be legally protected. Meanwhile, 23-percent disagree, and five-percent don’t know where they stand. This comes as the Senate considers legislation to protect the right to marriage.
