Japanese-Americans Remember World War Two Internment  near Delta

(Delta, UT)  –  A group of Japanese-Americans from California is remembering one of the darker moments of World War Two at a former internment camp in Utah.  Dozens of people came to the site of the Topaz internment camp yesterday outside of Delta, about 130 miles southwest of Salt Lake City.  Most who visited had family members who were forced into the camp, though a few actually lived in the camp during the more than three years it was open.  In addition to touring the site, the visitors got a look at the Topaz Museum, which is set to open later this summer.Â
