(Ogden, UT) — A mother from New Mexico faces charges after her two children were hospitalized after eating a marijuana cookie. Morgan County officials say the family was vacationing in Mountain Green on Saturday when the three and five-year-old girls found the cookie in the family car and ate it. They say the mother called 9-1-1 and the children were taken to an Ogden hospital. The woman faces charges including child endangerment and possession of marijuana.
