Sanpete Valley Hospital’s sleep medicine services recently received program accreditation from the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM). In addition to ensuring all patients of the high quality of services provided by SVH’s sleep center, this accreditation will allow Medicare patients to receive their sleep services at the hospital, keeping them close to home for care.

This is a five-year accreditation that will be ongoing to prove that policies, procedures, and protocols at Sanpete Valley Hospital are consistent with national standards.

Sanpete Valley Hospital sleep center offers care for those suffering from a variety of sleep orders including narcolepsy, parasomnia, irregular sleep-wake cycles, restless leg syndrome, and sleep apnea.
