Sometime during the early hours of Sunday, February 2, the Ephraim City Hall and a surrounding home were vandalized. According to the Ephraim Police Department, someone used spray paint to deface the buildings. Ephraim City and Ephraim City Police Department are offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons involved in the vandalism.

This is the third act of vandalism in Sanpete County in the past week and a half. On January 24, someone spray painted slogans on two exterior walls at the Manti Tabernacle, and on February 1, someone dislodged a headstone in the Mayfield Town Cemetery.
