EPHRAIM, Utah-Brooklynn Zajac homered and the USU-Eastern Utah Eagles outlasted Snow 5-4 Thursday in the first game of a SWAC softball doubleheader at the Snow Softball Complex. Allie Fowler netted nine strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Eagles. Grace Thomas drove in three runs in the loss for the Badgers.
EPHRAIM, Utah-Grace Thomas, Taimane Laologi-Aloy and Nev Carrasquel drove in a run apiece and the Snow Badgers seucred a SWAC softball doubleheader split Thursday with a 4-3 win over USU-Eastern Utah. Avery Thorkelson posted a strikeout in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Badgers. Allie Fowler drove in a run in the loss for the Eagles.
