Monday, Southern Utah men’s basketball senior forward Jaiden Feroah was named as the WAC Newcomer of the Week.

In a win over Utah Valley (Wednesday) and a loss to Utah Tech (Saturday), Feroah, a former Corner Canyon High School star out of Draper, Utah, averaged 26.5 points and 11.5 rebounds per game.

Feroah, who has also played at Green River CC (Wash.) and Holy Cross, is averaging 13.9 points and 7 rebounds per game this season for the Thunderbirds.

Feroah and his SUU teammates return to action Thursday at Texas-Arlington as the Thunderbirds’ WAC season ensues.
