ST. GEORGE, Utah-Monday, Utah Tech sophomore guard Noah Bolanga was named the WAC Newcomer of the Week per a statement from the conference.

The native of Poitiers, France scored a career-high 19 points while adding 8 rebounds in the Trailblazers’ 89-48 win over Justice College last Saturday.

Bolanga and his Utah Tech teammates return to action Saturday with a visit to future fellow Big Sky opponent Weber State at the Dee Events Center in a non-conference tilt.
