RICHFIELD, Utah-The Richfield Wildcats won a Region 12 golf tournament Wednesday at Cove View Golf Course in Richfield by shooting a 292 as a team, 18 strokes ahead of second place Juab’s 310. Carbon came in third with a 314, followed by Delta’s 325. Emery placed fifth with a 343 with Canyon View coming in sixth with a 363, North Sanpete finished seventh with a 368 and Manti rounded out the field with a 375.

Individually Richfield’s Kaylen Kelsey was dominant with a 65 to win by six strokes. His teammate Pace Mullen was also under par with a 71 for second place. Juab’s Jaylan Dinkel came in third with a 74, his teammate Ty Bender and Richfield’s Jorgen Southwick tied for fourth by each shooting a 76.
