Juvenile Runaways From Koosharem Located

Four juvenile runaways from Koosharem are back home after almost a week. The two boys and two girls, aged 13 to 16, ran away on Aug. 30 and were located Sept. 5. after hiding in an old shed about half a mile from the school where they were found. According to Sevier County Sheriff Nathan Curtis, “one of the juveniles decided to leave the group and return to the school as he was hungry due to not having much to eat besides some old pancake batter and canal water. The remaining three juveniles returned a short time later when they found the first juvenile had left.” All four were checked out medically and given food and water.
