EPHRAIM, Utah-Max Triplett recorded 27 points on 12-14 from the field and 1-1 from range as the No. 17 Snow Badgers decimated Utah Prep Academy 116-50 in the season opener for the Badgers Wednesday evening at the Horne Activity Center. The Badgers shot 63 percent (45-72) from the field for the game and outrebounded Utah Prep 65-27. John Smith’s 10 points led Utah Prep in defeat. The Badgers return to action November 9 against Seward County CC (Kan.) at the Gila Monster Shootout on the campus of Eastern Arizona College at Thatcher, Ariz.

SWAC Tournament @ SLCC

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah-Tessa Treanor’s 14 kills led the way and the No. 4 Salt Lake Community College Bruins dismantled Snow 3-1 Wednesday in the SWAC Tournament semifinals at the Lifetime Activities Center. Liv Marshall netted 10 kills in the loss for the Badgers.
