North Sevier Boys Win Duchesne Invitational; Girls Finish Second

DUCHESNE, Utah-Tuesday, North Sevier’s boys track and field squad won the Duchesne Invitational at Duchesne High School while the Wolves’ girls placed second.

The boys posted 107 points to edge second-place Emery (102 points). Host Duchesne finished third with 76 points.

For the girls, Monticello won the team title with 95 points. North Sevier finished second with 81 points. Maeser Prep placed third with 79 points.

The Wolves’ boys 4 x 400 team squad placed first in a time of 3:47.74. The Wolves were represented by Grayson Bennett, Kamden Saling, Tate Goble and Keaton Hallows.

The North Sevier girls also won the 4 x 400 title in a time of 4:38.08. The Wolves were represented by Avery Smith, Karla McCoy, Cale Torgerson and Trey Torgerson.

North Sevier individual athletes who placed first are listed below as follows:

Boys 800: Keaton Hallows (2:04.02)

Boys 110 hurdles: Tate Goble (16.97)

Boys 1600: Keaton Hallows (4:51.50)

Girls 300 Hurdles: Cale Torgerson (52.91)

Girls 800: Trey Torgerson (2:37.35)

Girls High Jump: Cale Torgerson (5-02)

Boys Shot Put: Blaine Anderson (43-09.50)
