(Salt Lake City, UT)  –  The leader of the Utah House is being accused of taking thousands of dollars in kickbacks.  The accusation against House Speaker Greg Hughes was made yesterday during the trial of former Utah Attorney General John Swallow.  Witness Marc Jenson said he was told Hughes and members of the Utah Transit Authority board were being paid-off by a Park City businessman.  Hughes denied the allegations yesterday and said he believes Jenson lied under oath.
