FORT MYERS, Fla.-Wednesday morning, per a tweet by CBS Sports College Basketball Insider Jon Rothstein, and later substantiated by Southern Utah University’s men’s basketball program, the T-Birds will compete at the Rocket Mortgage Fort Myers Tipoff at Fort Myers, Fla. November 23 and 24.

This tournament consists of the “Palms” and “Beaches” divisions. SUU, Bowling Green, Milwaukee and Yale, all of whom are “mid-majors,” will compete in the Palms division.
The Beaches division was previously announced and is comprised of Florida, Ohio State, California and Seton Hall, each of whom represent “power conferences” in Division I men’s college basketball.
SUU, Bowling Green, Milwaukee and Yale will play one of four Beach division teams before arriving in Fort Myers. Then, each division will participate in its own four-team bracket during the event.
