SALT LAKE CITY-Per news released Thursday, the University of Utah men’s basketball team will face Missouri December 18 at Mizzou Arena of Columbia, Mo.
This is the second non-conference game the Utes have announced in as many days. Wednesday, it was revealed they will commence the regular season by hosting Sacramento State November 13.
The Utes lead the Tigers 3-0 all-time. Utah defeated Missouri 45-35 March 24, 1944 at the NCAA Tournament West Region semifinals at Kansas City, Mo. The Utes later vanquished the Tigers, in the 1978 NCAA Tournament at Wichita, Kan., 86-79 and November 16, 2017, Utah routed Missouri 77-59 at the Huntsman Center.
This will be the first time the squads have met at Columbia, Mo.
