Potentially Large Snowstorm Slated For Sanpete/Sevier Counties

SALT LAKE CITY-In breaking news from the National Weather Service out of Salt Lake City, a weather advisory warning is in effect commencing Thursday evening.

As of 6:00 pm MDT Thursday, the Sanpete and Sevier valleys will be under the warning through 6:00 am MDT Saturday.

It is anticipated that 3-5 inches of snow will fall with rain transitioning into snow as Thursday night progresses.

Occasional winter conditions can be expected during the advisory on U.S. Highway 89 and on other roads in the area.

The Weather Service admonishes drivers to be cautious of winter conditions and drive safely at this time.
