Weber State/Wasatch Academy’s Koby McEwen To Participate In 3x3U National Championships

OGDEN, Utah-Per Monday news, Weber State senior point guard Koby McEwen has been selected to participate in the 2022 Dos Equis 3x3U National Championship April 1-3 at the Sugar Mill of New Orleans during Final Four festivities.

McEwen, who has also starred at Wasatch Academy, Utah State and Marquette, is among 64 players who have elected to commence their professional basketball careers who will compete for their share of $150,000.

This is the fifth consecutive year the Wildcats have had a player selected to participate in the 3X3 tournament.

McEwen, who averaged 18.2 points and 4.2 rebounds for the Wildcats this season, will compete as part of the Western Sky-Walkers at the tournament.

Tuesday, Southern Utah guard John Knight III was added to the Western Sky-Walkers squad. Knight averaged 14.3 points and 4.3 rebounds per game for the Thunderbirds this season.

Friday, Utah State senior forward Brandon Horvath was added to the Western Sky-Walkers squad. Horvath averaged 14.2 points and 6.5 rebounds this season for the Aggies.
