Weber State Men’s Basketball Visits Sacramento State Thursday

SACRAMENTO, Calif.-Thursday, Weber State men’s basketball (16-10, 10-5 in Big Sky play) seeks to build some late-season momentum as they visit the Sacramento State Hornets ( 11-12, 5-9 in Big sky play).

The Wildcats commence a three-game road trip at Sacramento State as they will later visit Northern Colorado February 28 and Idaho State March 4.

In Saturday’s 94-82 win over Montana State, star junior guard Jerrick Harding became the eighth player in program history to post 1,500 points for the Wildcats.

The Wildcats score a Big Sky Conference-best 81 points per game and surrender 74 points per contest.

Harding currently scores 22.3 points per game to lead the Wildcats.

Junior guard Cody John adds 14.8 points per game for Weber State with senior forward Brekkott Chapman (12.6 points, 9.1 rebounds per game) also posting solid numbers for the Wildcats.

The Hornets score 70.9 points per game and surrender only a conference-best 68.3 points per game.

Senior guard Marcus Graves (16.2 points, 4.6 rebounds per game) is Sacramento State’s star on the season. Junior center Joshua Patton (13.3 points, 6 rebounds per game) has also excelled in a complementary role for the Hornets.

The Wildcats lead the Hornets 41-7 all-time and have won five out of the last six in the series as well as the last three.
