BOSTON-Monday, Weber State senior point guard Dillon Jones was named the collegeinsider.com Player of the Week for his contributions to the Wildcats’ wins over Idaho and Eastern Washington.

In the victories over the Vandals and Eagles, Jones averaged 29.5 points, 8.5 assists and 7.5 rebounds per game.

Jones, a sought-after NBA Draft prospect, is averaging 20.5 points and 9.4 rebounds per game this season for the Wildcats.

By virtue of Jones’ contributions, the Wildcats are presently unbeaten in February, having gone 6-0 in the month to improve to 18-9 and 9-5 in Big Sky Conference play.

Jones and his Weber State teammates return to action Saturday by visiting Idaho State as the conference season continues for both squads.
